MWeb is a serious Markdown workspace for drafting articles, keeping notes, and publishing static-style blogs—on Mac, iPad, and iPhone—with native-feeling performance and a UI aimed at long writing sessions.

Editing & Markdown power

Syntax: Built around GitHub Flavored Markdown (GFM), with support for tables, tables of contents, LaTeX math, fenced code blocks, task lists, footnotes, and more—without fighting the parser.

Diagrams & visuals: Generate diagrams from text using common toolchains such as Mermaid, Graphviz, ECharts, PlantUML, sequence diagrams, and flowcharts—right inside your documents.

Authoring helpers: Paste or drag images with live preview; control image dimensions with Markdown-friendly syntax; insert tables and LaTeX equations without leaving the editor flow.

Library, publishing & export

Notes library: Organize work in a category tree with tagging; quick-capture notes; search across the whole library when you need an old draft fast. Categories can be exported or turned into static sites when your workflow calls for it.

Output: Export to HTML, EPUB, PDF, RTF, Docx, and image formats. Publish to blogging platforms and services such as WordPress (including WordPress.com), Metaweblog-compatible endpoints, Evernote, Blogger, Medium, Ghost, Tumblr, and others—subject to current app capabilities and your accounts.

Images online: Integrates with common upload workflows (for example Imgur, Qiniu, Upyun, or custom APIs where configured).

External docs mode: Point MWeb at existing Markdown folders—useful alongside GitBook-style content, Jekyll, Hexo, and similar static-site stacks.
